I had the opportunity over this past weekend to shoot a very large extended family I have known for many years. As they grow into young men from little boys the change is obvious and not stopping any time soon. I am extremely excited to see a few of these hanging on their walls and bringing joy to the 4 generations that were present. It is so wonderful to see a young and old family that are so close. Many times we just don’t take that time to stop and look back to see where we have came from and ponder on where we are going. It was readily apparent that this family does not have that issue. It really touched me to watch the youngest son pack a padded chair a quarter of a mile just so his grandmother had a nice place to sit and enjoy the ducks, the breeze and of course their beautiful family.
With their daughter about to graduate in a month I am sure they will have their hands full. Such a beautiful person inside and out, with the patience of a saint. Coming from a family with several younger siblings myself, I couldn’t help but notice that even though she obviously had the maturity advantage, she was constantly positive. Many adolescent ladies could learn a lot from even a short time with her. I am positive that she will go on to achieve far more than even she yet knows if given the opportunity.
